WHAT IS LARC?
LARC advances academic success through proven active learning strategies, peer-to-peer collaboration, campus partnerships, and leadership development.
The Learning & Academic Resource Center’s Tutorial Program is part of the Office of the Vice Provost of Teaching and Learning at UCI. Our goal is to foster educational success for UCI’s diverse student population, as part of a campus-wide effort involving meaningful collaborations between faculty, staff, administrators, and students across schools.

Tutorials (Supplemental Instruction)
In a large lecture course? Join our twice-weekly 50-minute learning sessions, plus exam reviews. Focus on key concepts, collaboration, and study strategies in a FUN and encouraging small-group setting.
After Dark Drop-In Tutoring
Have tough homework? Drop by the LARC Study Lounge after hours to study or work through your questions with tutorial leaders for free in specific subjects: Bio 93, 94, 97, 98, 99, GChem series, OChem series, Math 1B, 2A, 2B, 2D, Physics 3 series & 7 series.

Want to enhance your study skills? Attend our FREE workshops to acquire proven learning strategies and improve your academic performance. Meet with our academic coach 1:1 for personalized strategies and encouraging support.

Interested in joining a LARC tutorial for the first time? You can sign up through week 6 of each quarter. Expect an encouraging collaborative experience with friendly, knowledgeable peers. Here are some resources to get you started.
