Whether you are a new or returning student, knowing where and how to access academic support can play a huge role in your success. Fortunately, UC Irvine offers a wide variety of resources and services specifically designed to help students achieve their learning goals.

For the 2024-25 academic year, we are excited to announce a brand new resource! UCI ZotPASS is a free application designed to help students find tutors in a variety of subjects, schedule tutoring appointments, and locate drop-in services with tutors and peer educators.

While we are still rolling ZotPass out across campus, several departments have confirmed their intent to adopt the platform. In addition to us at the Learning and Academic Resource Center (LARC), students will also be able to see drop-in times and schedule appointment with tutors at the Center for Excellence in Writing and Communication (Writing Center), the ICS Tutoring Center, the Physics Learning Center, and the Economics Learning Center. We expect more units to join ZotPASS in the coming quarters.

To take advantage of this valuable tool, you can access ZotPASS by downloading the mobile app from your app store or by logging into the ZotPASS web application using your UCInetID credentials.

For more information, visit the ZotPASS website or check out the video below:

In addition to the support offered through ZotPASS, the team at LARC is happy to offer assistance with your academic needs! For help, you can meet with one of our academic coaches one-on-one, sign up for a LARC tutorial, or check out our best learning tips.
